- Reportedly, WWE's Canadian office in Toronto is irate about the decision to change Chris Benoit's hometown to Atlanta, Georgia. This comes just one month before his first pay-per-view title defense at Backlash. WWE wants to push the pay-per-view as a local boy returning home to a hero's welcome, but the Canadian office feels that this could hurt the show.


So was there a decision to change his hometown after all thse years? Why would there be a decision like this when the WWE wants the local boy push?
