All I know is every person from Pittsburg has an fanatical obsession with the band The Clarks, regardless of what kind of music they listen to.

But one cult band does not equal best music scene.

Pittsburgh? That is an odd choice - who knew?! I'm glad to see the mention of Raleigh, NC. There's been some great music coming out of NC for a long, long time.

The list excludes New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Austin, Texas, which are widely cited for their music scenes.

I've always thought LA and NY were over-rated - in some cases they were both more destinations for people after they already did something in their old scenes.

And for a second there, Mikey, I thought you had something good to say about the city.

As far as it rocking harder than anyone else? Thats a little overexuberance. There are a lot of clubs, and other venues, and any night of the week you can normally find somewhere to go listen to music. But, I wouldn't say that it rocks much harder than most citie.

And I have no fuckin clue who the Clarks are and what they do. And there's an "h" at the end of Pittsburgh.
