The Last Funny Movie You Saw

I saw <i>Starsky and Hutch</i> over the weekend and found it to be disappointing. Not even a chuckle. It made me think that I couldn't remember the last movie I saw that made me laugh. I mean, there are the classics like any Monty Python movie, but nothing in recent memory. Am I just forgetting, or has there been nothing of quality produced in the comedy arena in quite some time?

Old School may have been the last comedy i saw that was funny. However 2 Fast 2 Furious and The Hulk were very funny. Or as I like to call them, "The Ludacris Story" and "The Nick Nolte Story"

Waiting For Guffman and Best In Show - if you are not laughing I would think you were not breathing.

I saw School Of Rock on a plane a couple weeks ago and laughed my ass off. Jack Black makes the movie, which is standard at best, all the more enjoyable. Every scene he is in had me cracking up.

I really laugh at any movie I see. Even if it's just silly. Hell, I laugh at Sponge Bob. If the right line comes along in a movie, and it sounds like an unintentional sexual reference (I've laughed at so many of those in any Mary Kate and Ashley Movie), I'll just HAVE to giggle.

"Mighty Wind," "Lost In Translation," "Bad Santa," "American Splendor," "Nemo," "Old School" and "School of Rock" were all funny. I also laughed quite a bit at "Kill Bill v.1."

"Starsky & Hutch" was a little disappointing, but I still laughed here and there. The best moment from the movie was ruined by the commericals, though.

"Spongebob" rules.

It's tough to get a really great laugh out loud movie, though like the first time I saw "Something About Mary," "South Park" and saw "Clerks."

I've seen funny movies recently like Zoolander (at the time I thought American Pie was funny) or Old School but I can't think of anything that made me cry from laughter since Clerks.
