Theres like 16 different threads out there about the current NHL deal situation, I propose we all just combine them into one thread. If the mods agree, lets make this the official NHL Trades, Transactions, and deadline deals thread...
I think it would keep things more streamlined cause theres a lot of stuff going on out there right now and new threads popping up every couple of seconds are going to get confusing...

I'm saying for purposes of streamlining(and saving bandwidth space) we should keep all the NHL trade deadline news/notes/rumours etc. in one thread instead of making an new one everytime another deal happens....

Devils made a deal to-day....dealt Mike Rupp for Jan Hrdina..

Hrdina's not bad...but he fell off the face of the earth after he left Pittsburgh...

Here are the latest rumours...

ESPN projects Miro Satan going to either the Devils or Islanders...I personally would love to see him go to the Devils just for the "Devils get Satan" headlines...

It looks as if the Olaf Kolzig deal to the Avs is dead...as any deal probably would have included Sergei Gonchar...theyve still got him and Brendan Witt possibly going to about 6 different teams..

The Rangers could be unloading Barnaby, Simon, Malakhov, Rucinsky, and BoBo Mironov...

Anson Carter is on the block....

Devils are interested in Alexei Zhitnik..

Bruins are looking at Ron Francis...

Doug Weight, Chris Pronger, and Keith Tkachuk from the STL are on the block....

I see Daze is on the block now...maybe to Avs or Candiens...he would be a good pickup...Big Forwards=Always good....unless you stock your ENTIRE TEAM with them (Philadelphia Flyers)

Also Messier doesn't want to be dealt and won't report if he is....making noise about retiring after this year because the Rangers stink and look like they are going to rebuild...

I'd really like to see the Devils get Sean Hill from Carolina. If not him, then Brendan Witt from the Caps.
