View Full Version : TNA postpones PPV again. Can't get top stars?

Hogan, Chyna, Savage, Nash, etc...
NWA: TNA has again postponed the Bound for Glory PPV from the April 4th date. No new date is scheduled. This marks the third false date that TNA has passed on to cable companies, which is ruining the promotion's credibility.
One problem is that TNA is proving to be unable to secure top stars. Hulk Hogan backed out of his proposed involvement, as did Joanie Laurer. TNA advertised both without signing them to contracts. Randy Savage, the latest big name expected to join TNA, is now apparently having second thoughts and is delaying signing his deal. Kevin Nash, who was considering working TNA, is starting to think otherwise after watching a few TNA shows and feeling that it was minor league. Roddy Piper also never mentions TNA in any of his mainstream appearances.

The entire problem is that they are trying to get big names when they have the best talent right under their noses. They shouldn't have to rely on out of work wrestlers. They need to focus on what they already have. Obviously management does not see that.

Kinda like when the WWE brought back Hogan and the outsiders.
In my opinion, the PPV should be pushed back so a feud can actually be built for the world heavyweight title rather than some has been gracing TNA only to stink up the place

How bad must this make the TNA wrestlers feel that management has absolutely no confidence in them to carry a PPV, that they have to go and hire a bunch of has-beens to headline their big show?
Is it any wonder TNA workers are losing confidence in the promotion?

No offense Teenweek but he is the Insider!![/url]Well unfortunately it is true. TNA still thinks that well known stars like Jarrett and Luger are better for advertising purposes than their homegrown new blood which I still have beef with but they won't budge on that stance. They want buyrates and that is the only way they think they can accomplish this (well that is basically what Dutch is saying).

Dutch doesn't know what the fuck he's doing though.
I'm serious. He's KILLING the company. Buyrates are well BELOW what they need to be, and it all started every since that stupid asshole took over the book.
I never thought I'd say this, but: bring back Russo.
