Seriously? This really isn't an upgrade although Van Horn is injury prone and he is a solid shooter.
At least Kurt Thomas is still here. I still like Tim Thomas, I think he could do good things in New York. Nazi, well... I'm not sure what to think.

i like the rade with the exception of one thing: we lose an 05 second orund draft pick. the draft is the cheapest and best way to build a franchise. we gave up a first rounder to phoenix, and this one, and in all likely if we were to get a sign and trade deal for wallace it would involve 05 first round pick. i could live losing the one fo rwallace, but we didnt need to lose the pick to phoenix, and we certainly didnt need to give up an second pick for next years draft.

Yeah, what El Mudo said.
That and, a trade for 'Sheed would be a mistake. He has said many times that he is going to test the free agnet market. Whoever has him now really has no chance to resign him. The Knicks just have to wait until this summer.
And having Tim Thomas is a mistake--his salary is waaaaaaaay too high. He had a good year like 2 seasons ago and got a huge payday. Definately hasnt earned it.
Also, I was under the impression that Marbury, Thomas, and Van Horn were the only Knicks Isaiah would not trade.

I think you have to have a bucket of freid chicken to get into the garden now.
Your seat number is under the bucket.
The Gm is black the coach is black. All the White Folks are getting traded. Pretty soon the NBA is gunna make Dolen sell the team To Diddy. Which would not be terrible. Dolen sucks.

I never noticed that. That is funny how Isiah is not letting white players a chance to stay.

You still think he's peeved at Larry Bird? Next thing you know, the Knicks will be sold to a minority group.

you guys, unless the second half of the thread mentions, forget that tim thomas is from paterson. he is coming home, and people USUALLY play better when they go home. i love this deal, at least thomas always tries and isnt a pussy

Three Words:
Ken
Griffey
Junior
And AJ- Tim Thomas is a SF who can play guard. I wouldnt be surprised to see him get some time at the 2, but he is a SF

i think that very thing. I believe that Isiah is a racist. Not because he's trading white people, because of the thing with Larry Bird, the thing with John Stockton, and because I once heard that Rick Mahorn said that he and Isiah would make fun of white players.
I think the trade was definitely not a good one for the Knicks. Thomas and Mohammed for Van Horn, Doleac, and a 2nd rounder in 2005 (and i'm pretty sure their 1st rounder in 2005 was traded to Phoenix already, but i could be wrong) is not good. Any combination of two of those three players for Thomas and Mohammed is probably not that good considering how valuable a pick can be and how good Doleac's been playing. The Bucks didn't really win either though because I don't think Van Horn makes up for losing Thomas and Pryzbilla. I don't know who's playing center for the Hawks now, but they did get the pick, Doleac, and Pryzbilla for "Nazi", so i guess they won.

he was struck down with the grant hill syndrome.
Grant Hill had one injusry that he hasn't fully recovered from.
Ken Griffey has had a lot of preventable injuries, mainly his hamstring.
Muscle injuries are almost always preventable. Now, his separated shoulder was just unfortunate.

first ot all what i mean by grant hill syndrome i mean an excellent, and promising player being struck down in their prime due to an injury. secondly, im sure griffey jr made sure to get injured and end his amazing career. injuries happen, most of the time its not anybodys fault.
and shamus i think their giving up a pcik in this years draft thats why its imperative they make the playoffs this way they dont even have a chance of giving up a number one overall. though if we were to abtain wallace via a sign and trade we would certainly have to give up the first round pick at next years draft.
