I'm assuming spaces count.

I had a sig that was four lines long because of a spaced line and was told to fix it.

This is probably still the case.

Signature pictures should be no larger than 300 x 100 pixels and 30 kb. If your signature is too large you will be asked by a moderator to shrink it, if you fail to do so, your status may be changed, or worse...

Ah, but here's something that may prove me wrong. I believe the text length issue when it came up was in regards to the size of the boxes everyones' posts showed up in. With the mod quotes now (Pics 100 X 100, plus text), the posting box often extends well past any sig text. Mine does it all the time.

So I'll defer to Jeff or Jon for the final word at this point. It USED to be three lines or less, but that may not have to apply now.
