Suburbia and WHT

How awesome were the old no frills forms of entertainment back in the day? I loved Intellivisions' cheap baseball game and Blackjack, and WHT showing "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" was better than the Blockbuster days any day.

How excited we were to get WHT! It felt like our neighborhood was one of the last that was getting this new-fangled "cable tv".

Anyone remember cable bingo? I loved it when our family (and friends) won those two free movie tickets!!

Yea, good ol' wometco!!! Had to wait til 5pm when they came on the air and went off around 1am!!! Better than nothing!! I think they charged $15 bucks a month for that!!
