Its a horse racing fantasy thing. You pick 10 horses, 2 trainers, 2 jockeys....they keep track of the scoring and all. You go up against everyone so its not just an RF.net thing although I think we can manage to post our scores. There are a number of big races coming up and it all ends with the Kentucky Derby. I don't really know a lot about any of these horses so i just read a little and picked 10 at random. I implore you to do the same and see if it really takes skillz or just dumb luck.

I did this a couple of years ago and got War Emblem in my stable by dumb luck. Problem was, I didn't get many points because I didn't have him active for a bunch of races. I'm in.

There's no way I can do this. I've already got multiple fantasy MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, PGA, and NASCAR leagues and I even had a fantasy XFL league (which I won, thank you Tommy Maddux). If I toss fantasy horse racing on top of that pile my wife will have me in a 12-step program by the end of the day.

i just looked at a couple of things on the kentucky derby website...they had video of a couple of the contenders and i liked what i saw...as for the jockeys...i just picked the ones that usually drive the horses that i liked best to win the derby....trainers, pretty much the same...zito has a million horses so i figured odds were with him

Scored a win with Smarty Jones over the weekend...I now have 39 points and am #1652 out of 15573

Top 15% isn't bad.

I can't believe the winner of this thing gets $3500 in betting vouchers....thats great for a free game.

you have a horse in this weekend....Wimbledon is in the 9th race at the Fair Grounds...I hope you have him active....He will have a really tough time beating Fire Slam but at least you have a chance

Wynn Dot Comma, who upset Eurosilver to win the Grade 3 Swale Stakes on March 13 at Gulfstream Park, was euthanized after breaking down during a routine gallop at Calder on Tuesday morning.



let that be a lesson to any of the other horses that think they want to beat one of mine

wow, this is crazy....I had a huge day with The Cliff's Edge winning the Blue Grass Stakes with Sellers riding and trained by Zito and the 2nd place finisher in the race as well (Lionheart). I also had the winner of the Arkansas Derby (smarty jones) and the 2nd place finisher in the Wood Memorial (Master David)

I am now number 217 out of 17256...top 2% in the world with a total of 139 points.


I want my Derby Jacket!!
