It's one thing after another. Everyone in my life is having problems and Now my dad is really sick and in the hospital. I come to this board yet again to beg of you to please pray. You guys were supportive when my mom was sick, when my grandmother fell ill, when my dog died, and now I need your support again. I can't take this shit anymore.

wow man...I am truly sorry and feel your pain. I know this thread is about you but I figured I would share a story but this is just to let you know that you are not alone, this is not to downplay your situation:

My aunt, age 43, is currently hospitalized with some sort of internal bleeding. Now, for a strong, healthy person this would be something that could easily be taken care of, but she is a special case. Ever since she graduated high school she developed really bad arthritis. So bad, that she had to have both hips, and both knees replaced just so she could get out of bed. She has never been able to live alone and still lives with her parents/my grandparents. As a little kid, i am now 24, many of the memories i have of her were from when i would stay at my grandparents house. The most traumatic of which were her screaming and crying in the morning because she couldn't move upon waking up. The morning stiffness (insert joke here) that you and I feel when we wake up would be the equivalent of her joints becoming almost paralyzed. She is so skinny(about 80 lbs.) and very weak, but all her life she has tried to do everything she can on her own. She has a job and she drives which is a little scary because of how slow she would be able to react to a situation. But, all in all, for someone that has had a large of part of her life taken from her she would give anything to others. Now, that she is in the hospital and awaiting surgery I feel like i never gave half to her what she gave to me.

So, overall, If your dad is a strong person I think/hope he will be just fine...its really amazing what modern medicine can do for people. Keep your head up and know that you are in our thoughts and not alone.

Update: He's doing better. he is suffering from a very bad case of pneumonia and there is infection in his lungs. He was also a diabetic that we didn't know about b/c he was never to the doctor. Word of advise to everyone, Go to the Doctor for annual check ups. Oh and don't let anything go too long.

they are currently trying to find the right antibiotic to bring down his temperature and help the infection. the whole thing is going to take a long time to get better but just lettin you know that things should be ok and my family is doing better. thanks everyone for your prayers.

i was able to talk to him today and he's awake and talking. We are so happy. He's really weak and on oxygen and a lot of medicines but he should be released in another week or so. an amazing turn around.
But get this, he's pissed off we put him in the hospital. Can you believe this? he would have been 6 feet under if we didn't get him there. ugh he's back to pissing us off. I guess that's a good sign.
