Just returned from Florida but I have a question!!

I was in Sonny's BBQ and they serve the best "Sweet Tea" in the south--but every 10 seconds the waitress kept asking us "how's y'all sweet tea, want more sweet tea"--I swear this sounded like some comedy routine a stand up guy did. Am I dreaming this? If it is, does anyone remember the name of the comedian that does the schtick about Sweet Tea? It was hysterical sitting there hearing her ask about sweet tea in her redneck accent. Thanks!!!!

i dunno about the sweet tea, but you missed out. sonny's is good, but the best in ctrl Fl is bubbalou's bodacious BBQ. i swear its just like eating baby...so tender .....::drools::

Reminds me of Taylor Negron's bit about eating at a greasy spoon in the south. He ordered coffee and the waitress asks "you scream?" He then goes on a diatribe about whether or not he screamed and if he didn't notice. The punchline is she was really asking "Use cream?" but he didn't understand because of her accent.
