Anyone remember this sketch comedy show that i believe showed on HBO. It ran for years. the only people I remember from it was Rich Hall and Stuart Pankin. Good political satire.

To kick it even more old school, the HBO series was based on an even funnier British show called "Not The Nine O'Clock News". (I think that was the title.) It had a talking Mr. Bean, the guy who played the torturer in The Princess Bride and a hot pseudo-news bunny.
Ah, those too clever by half Brits. Shame about their empire and all. Wut, wut.

The puppets were the Spitting Image puppets, a British thing that was seen in Genesis' "Land of Confusion" before doing the DC Follies show.

Rich Hall in the past couple of years has been touring with a new character he created Otis Lee Crenshaw. Really funny songs and comedy.

I remember the show Not Necessarily the News . It was an HBO show. I rememebr one episode where the chubby guy was doing the weather and started breakdancing and spinning on his back on the desk.

Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck !

That Land of Confusion video was the best. They need more videos now with Reagan puppets.

Sniglets: Words that dont appear in the dictionary but should

Sniglets was Rich Hall's baby. I saw him three times at Governor's comedy club and he was hilarious back then. On SNL He did a take off of David Byrne from the Talking Heads, wearing a big suit like David did in "Stop Making Sense." It was a very funny bit.

Sniglets. That was my favorite. Like... Dork - a person who tries to walk in a door clearly marked exit.
