i hate dates. especially datey dates.
<p><font face="arial">"the rest of our lives is one long honeymoon. well, that doesn't mean we're in love. if you really loved me you'd buy me a beautiful pearl, but you've already bought me all the pearls in the world. so there's one thing i crave when my days become ho-hum and blah. i want a <a href="http://www.houseoftomorrow.com/welcome.html">zebra</a>"</font></p>

Dark alley with duct tape, a ball gag and no police.
"Nothing can kill The Grimace"
For a first date, museums are always cool, especially if you know something about the exhibit you're going to see. That way she thinks you're actually intelligent. Concerts and clubs and noisy bars are out because you can't talk to each other. Save those for like the 14th or 15th date, 'cuz chances are, by then you'll be sick to death of each other.
A much better bet for a first date is one of those yuppy coffee bars that usually has some dippy douche bag playing bad folk music, while the espresso sipping zombies marvel at his ability. If she digs it, RUN out of there as fast as possible and stiff her with the check. If she hates it, chances are she's pretty cool. Take her to a Chinese restaurant that has a bar; they're always very quiet, and they serve some deadly drinks. Get her blasted out of her mind, then take her right home. The next day she'll remember having a great time, and also that you didn't take advantage of her even though you had the chance. You're scorin' major points here, boys.
After the first few dates, it is not only perfectly acceptable but also expected that you fall into a boring routine such as dinner and a movie.
Finally, any of you so insane as to take dating advice from a guy who's in his thirties and never been married should seek professional help immediately.

-Comedy Clubs (only if someone good is playing)
-Sporting events (if your dating a REALLY COOL chick.)
-Jazz clubs
-Japanese restaurants where they cook right in fromt of you
-Local plays/musicals
*Anywhere you take someone, it is only as good as you make it.

So far so good. Buuut I am
not just talking about first
dates. A good idea for me and
this is just part of the date
is one of those rock climbing
places so it shows you are
athletic and what not. Have a
good one people

Ehh, I'm no expert on this
stuff. Pay no attention to the
fact I'm getting married-- it
was a fluke! I'm supposed to
be the Crazy Cat Lady you tell
your children to stay away from.
Anyhoo, if the chick is
anything like me, low-key is
the way to go. Comedy clubs
are good, especially if you
share the same sense of humor.
Grabbing a few beers at a
quiet pub (the Blind Tiger on
a Sunday afternoon is
great!)is also a good idea
(especially if you, like me,
get nervous around the
opposite sex!!). Whatever you
do, DO NOT smother her! DO NOT
shower her with non-stop
compliments; it's creepy. One
or two is nice.
Good luck, li'l buddy!

The best date would be bowling
then dinner. Fun first mixed with food is the BEST for everyone!

Comedy clubs are the best because anything to make you laugh will break the ice.
Japanese restuarant where they cook hibachi is cool, but don't eat sushi, you don't want to be yakking in the bathroom all night from food poisoning.
Miniature golf, walk around the city, ESPN Zone, walk on the boardwalk, AC, museum, planetarium, aquarium, great adventure, pier in Weehawkin, any coffee house..if it's not a fancy schmancy date.
Movies and bars/clubs are a no no. There's no talking involved! So unless your date is mute, I advise no loud music or movies.

I personally hate comedy clubs
as dates because after
listening to the comedians all
of a sudden you are not so
funny!!!!!!!
