here's a link, deek (http://www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/oote/)
probably not. i'm kind of tired of these "theme" comedy shows. the kings of comedy, the queens of comedy, the blue collar comedy tour, etc... they are just boring and generic.

I agree. The "theme" shows are the worst.

looks like Colin Quin's "Tough Crowd" except with a lot more gay sex.

Except for the unstoppable Buddy Cole, it was pretty weak.
I saw Scott Thompson's tour as Buddy Cole a few years back. The stage was designed as a bar, and he kept drinking martini after martini until he was pretty much just drunk as a skunk for the last hour. And even funnier. Good stuff.

Am I the only one who remembers in 1995 comedy central started a show called Out There In Hollywood, with Scott Thompson as the host of all gay/lesbian/alternative comics? They did it for National Coming Out Day, and it bombed after one episode...Why would CC try this again?
Furthermore, so many of the gay comics (the less funny ones-the ones who use it as their only base of reference) are just not funny. They go on and on about how GAY they are and how straight people are goofy. It was just like with the rise of the stand up comics and you got all the black guys doing there "white people walk like this, black people walk like this" with their impressions of the dorky white guy.
Just plain lame.
Plus, does anyone need a dance number in the middle of the standup show? The gay pimp daddy was a waste.

I agree with BTL about gay humor not being too funny when it's a blatant comparison, but I don't mind black comics tooling on my race (and often find it funny)....& I don't consider myself a racist or a homophobe....maybe I heard too much Polish jokes in my lifetime, hey life is too short to not laff at yourself
And didn't Lea DeLaria (sp?) and Amanda Bearse also host that show or was it a different one?

if you mean out there in hollywood, i dont think so. I dont think there was enough episodes to have more than one host.
