The fly

i've been wondering this for some time, does anyone use the fly on pants for it's intended purpose. The same goes for the fly on the underwear. i figure it was initially used as an easier way of urination, without having to open the pants or pull down the underwear.
As for me, i just open the pants and pull the underwear down just enough. i doubt i have ever used the fly on the underwear or pants for its purpose.
So, i'm wondering if i am the only one, and if everyone else just goes through the fly.

i know i have on occassion used the fly on my underwear, only on boxers though. boxer flys tends to be much easier to access, with that brief fly you have layers that i swear you need to be amibdextrious to open...

taking the question 1 step deeper, aside from using their fly, does anyone have any clue why they call it a fly anywho?

Are you one of those guys that has his pants half down at the urinal? I only use the zipper and the underwear fly.

Im kiddin. I saw this guy once do that and his pants fell down. I know what u mean about the cumbersome quality of the fly. Sometimes I have needed to piss so bad that I yanked up the leg opening to get it out fast!
