No Way Out to become a both brand PPV?

I think it would make alot of sense because it is a transitional PPV from Royal rumble to Wrestlemania and could help further angles.

It would make a lot of sense I mean if the main event for No Way Out is what they say it is going to be then yeah why not I mean I'd rather see another HHH/Shawn Michaels match than Brock have another match with Hardcore Holly only instead of hardcore it's eddie guerrero

I think it will be a smackdown only ppv with raw guys interfering on any matches thye are having. Like Goldberg will interfere during Eddie Guerrero and Brock.

Well I was just thinking aloud. It would be cool if they just made it a both brand PPV to set up for WM although this time around it only takes 2 weeks for the next PPV, NWO (so it really doesn't matter).

In theory is does sound like a better idea because I think it would result in ahigher buyrate. In actuality though it will stay a brand exclusive show.

Am I the only one wishing there were only say the Big 4 PPV's a year and they maybe bring back King of the Ring? PPV's used to be such an event. Instead now it is like paying for an episode of RAW/Smackdown each month. Wasn't Armageddeon only like 2 hours and 15 minutes long with a lot of filler? I didn't get it, I just remember reading that somewhere.

Benoit is on raw now. I will take Benoit, Jericho, HHH, Shawn Michaels, RVD, Benoit, Christian, Flair, Randy orton, Mick Foley over Angle, Eddie guerrero, Cena, Lesnar and a bunch of jobbers.

Tentative NWO card now is:

Brock v. Guerrero for the title (should be good, if given the right amount of time)

Big Show vs. John Cena for U.S. title (has potential if booked right to play to both men's strengths - Cena should take the next step here and take the U.S. strap. Hey, it's not as if Show's defended it or anything)

Rey Jr. vs. Chavo Jr. for cruizerweight title (there's no build up to this and there isn't any start to this program tonight on SD, so if this is still on I hope they don't rush it)

It's PPV overkill. They can't even build long storylines anymore because they either need to make a major change or resolve it at the end of the month.

there is not reason for all these ppvs. like jon said they cant build up a real hype for any of the matches. i mean i favorite buildup for a match goes back to taker vs nash at wm12. i mean they started building that up at the rumble, then at house shows and raws, and now there is no sigficant build up to anything. there arent any long lasting great feuds, the last one was benoit and jericho. i mean having a feud like macho mans and jake the snakes isnt possbile in this day and age. and its sad.

And what's the last angle built up at a house show?

I recall one on a sunday in Long Island, NY where Stone Cold kinda passed out in the ring, they "just happened" to have cameras there to record it and show it on raw the next night.

There was the Benoit/BookerT matches where they swapped US title back and forth every night for 4 nights several years ago, but it was never mentioned on Nitro.
