jason kidd wanted this guy gone. they couldn't do it last year after going through to the finals...kidd has been a little bitch everywhere he's gone...fucking around with the coaches. It's his team..he's been pushing for bryon to be fired since he was hired.

the nets have no one who can create their own shot. the only way they won was by running a passing game offense that scott taught them. losing to the lakers and the spurs in the finals wasn;t because they were poorly coached- they were way over matched. who on the nets could guard shaq or duncan? collins???

now byron can return home and coach the lakers when jackson retires.

byron scott did a horrible in game coaching job in the finals. game 1 he kept kmart out for most of the 2nd half. and i understand that he was in foul trouble but he didnt come in til there were 5minutes left in the fourth, when the nets didnt have a chance for a comeback. game 3 he kept kittles in for most of them game when he wasnt doin shit. harris was playin with everything he had and scoring and giving the nets teh spark off the bench, yet he remained on teh bench. game 5 both mutombo and collins were inneffective for that game, yet aaron williams played sparingly. game 6 during the fourth quarter richard jefferson who was having a good game remained on the bench half way through the 4th. while harris sat along side him when kittles did nothing to contribute. and kmart who was stinking up the court remained in game.

if he coached better maybe they would have won the finals. think about it, the spurs were a horrible home team throughout the playoffs, they lost the first game to the suns at home, and they couldnt beat a norwitzki-less dallas in san antonio. the nets could have the finals...under a better coach.

but i agree there was no way the nets could beat the lakers.
