View Full Version : Sean O'Haire is basically done with the WWE

From what my sources are telling me, he is close to cutting ties with the WWE because of his de-push similar to Spanky. A debut in TNA seems "very" possible. If so, he is absolutely TNA main event caliber!

I'll see if I can get more on this subject as I get it.

Now, THIS will suck. I have always liked him. He should have been on Team Lesnar at the Survivor Series instead of A-Train. Guess that horrid match with Rikishi last spring actually did end up killing his career.

"Outlet" sounds nice. ;)

Guess that horrid match with Rikishi last spring actually did end up killing his career.Yeah Tazz. He stilll has that lingering feeling that he is getting punished/screwed because of Piper's doing that he feels he will not go anywhere with the WWE (which is probably true).

The talented O'Haire should have been on Team Lesnar. Oh WWE, again you dropped the ball.

Well, he should quit... but I'm not telling him anything he doesn't already know.

*sigh* And he seemed to have so much promise when they debuted him in those vignettes.

It is a shame, but I think it's a good thing. Peachy is right, his initial vignettes and promos were a good intro into what could have been an interesting character. Teaming him with Piper could have boosted him, but instead diminished him and the character. As his character was reduced to really short catchphrases (and barely any presence at all in the show), his value goes down.

Going to TNA (or anywhere) where he can have an opportunity to shine could mean great things for O'Haire. One way or another, I expect to see him on my television again.

It's a shame, but c'mon, he's an ex-WCW guy - did you really think they'd give him a REAL shot at succeeding?

He should leave, and take Kanyon (another ex-WCW guy absolutely languishing in the lower card) with him.

Really, Tazz, there was no reason for the snarkiness. I just truly had a brain freeze.

Mysterio, Goldberg, Flair, Chavo Guerrero, Jamie Noble, Stacy Kiebler, Torrie Wilson.

Goldberg they're looking to unload after realizing he ain't worth the dough, Chavo, if not for his feud with Eddie (a "success story" I forgot about), would be an afterthought, Jaime Noble I don't see as a success, and bitches/valets don't count (sorry for the crudeness, but it's the way I see it).

Mysterio would be a breakout if the cruiserweight division wasn't so shat on.

And Flair's a legend. WWe needs him (or, at least, his legacy) more than he needs them.

I liked the Jindrak and O'Haire team in WCW. They are akward apart, like Ron and Fez.

Austin
HHH
Undertaker

None of those men are considered WCW creations, though. Each was "remade", so to speak, by the WWE upon entering the company.

Oh, you mean recent I guess.

Mysterio, Goldberg, Flair, Chavo Guerrero, Jamie Noble, Stacy Kiebler, Torrie Wilson.

Mysterio has probably been the most successful of that lot, but much of that was good booking by Paul Heyman during Mysterio's early months with the company (he was part of the Smackdown 6, you know). He's had his fair share of troubles, though, namely continuing the WWE's shitty policy of having heavyweights devour cruizerweights (he's been squashed by Big Show, Albert, Brock, just about all the big heavyweights).

Goldberg has NOT been a success - he was booked poorly the first few months in the company, and finally wins the title, only to job it back to - SURPRISE - HHH about a month later. He's counting the days until he's gone.

Peachy's right - Flair's a legend so he gets respect anyway.
Personally, though, I don't think Flair's been successful in the WWE for the past year or so, unless you think being HHH's flunky is a good use of arguably the greatest wrestler of the past 30 years.

Chavo is a fine worker, but without being teamed with Eddie for the past couple years, he'd have been VERY quickly lost in the shuffle.

Noble's only real "success" is probably in winning the cruizer title a couple times, but really, is that an achievement?

Stacy's just there.

Torrie's had nothing outside of a Playboy pictorial and a storyline that would have been the worst of 2002 (Mack Daddy Al Wilson) if not for the abortion that was Katie Vick.

Are you stupid?? Those tats are cool as hell, and that look is money, He's not going anywhere. The only reason Spanky left is because he had ties with Japan, O'haire is staying. The should have showed the segement with him at a local mall dressed up as Santa, then taking off the hat and telling a little girl that there is no Santa...this would have been classic.

Perhaps someone should mention....Jericho??

Jericho has been champion and has gotten pushes, but even from the perspective of this WWFmark (me!) he gets dropped off again and again. He seems to exist somewhere between the midcard and top billing.....somehow never considered good enough and yet waaaay too good.

I had seen little of late WCW, but Jindrak and O'Haire were scary. While the WWF had the Hardy Boys aerobatics, these two monsters were doing the same stunts. I suppose there must have been some personal reasons for that team splitting.

Tazz, I think the comparison is between stars that were made or at least reached near the top in WCW, and those you mentioned that could never have been seen to become as huge as they did based on their time in WCW.

I like Jamie Noble and think he's earned some spotlight time. I wish they would have kept Jamie and Nidia together longer, they had a sort of Macho Man-Elizabeth chemistry going for while.(the early, good kind)

Jericho was not a WCW creation, he got pushed despite the booking because he cut such great promos against Dean Malenko, but he was essentially the same as he was in ECW.

Spanky left because he was smart enough to realize that he has tremendous talent and youth that was being pissed away by jobbing to Johnny fucking Stamboli week after week.

Actually Spanky left because he had heat with Charlie Haas, who kept badmouthing him to management and spreading lies.

Plus, WWE is doing nothing with anyone that isn't 6'3, except HBK.

Spanky was *probably* going to be sent to OVW. For some reason instead of cutting the talent, they are sending them to OVW in hopes they will quit. I'm not sure how that is beneficial to the WWE though.
