My Superbowl Prediction-
The Patriots beat the Panthers by a score of 6-3.
They both have tremendous defenses and should be a very low scoring game.
I keep seeing a freaky image in my head...

Jake Delhomme- Superbowl MVP

When that happens, hell will freeze over and the world will officially come to an end.

My Superbowl Prediction
Panthers beat the Patriots 2-0 in 4 overtimes.

Superbowl MVP - Julius Peppers for causing a safety by sacking Tom Brady in the endzone during the 4th overtime.

But seriously folks, this is going to the worst, boringest Super Bowl in a while. I cant stand watching either team and I cant stand that the Pats are in the super bowl again.

This could rival the Ravens-Giants Super Bowl for awfulness. That was one of the worst games I've ever seen in any sport.

Will go with Patriots.

Panthers 'D' looked tough but McNabb got sacked 8 x's last week so Phila's offensive line is suspect. They will not get to Brady as much and their corners won't look as good. Pat's have the best secondary in the game and the rest of the D is solid. Brady is playing as good as any MVP and will continue in the Super Bowl.

Pats by at least 10

It pisses me off because all Patriot haters will argue to the death about how Brady sucks and there's no way he should be MVP. Not throwing an INT in 330 passes (unlike Mannings 4 tonight!!!) and leading your team to 14 straight wins as well as a Superbowl appearence clearly doesn't qualify you to win MVP of the league. Instead we'll give it to the two QBs that Brady beat, obviously that's the best choice.

Stop your yapping. It's all about the Rings baby. So are both Teams going to be introduced as "Coming out as a team the Patriots" and for the Panthers vice versa.

I liked it when New England did that at their last Superbowl. You can keep all you individual awards. I'ts all about the team.

All I have to say on this subject is my football season ended about two hours ago. Like all the Philly teams throughout history (except for 1980 and 1983) my teams are losers therefore I am a complete and total loser and really should have no right to breathe the wonderful air.

Point and laugh at me now cause it is hard to do to myself without getting even more bummed out.

Futility and failure have become a way of life.

Hell Yeah!!!

I see the Pats winning by about 10pts.

Congrats to the Pats and to Fallon and any other Pats fans on this board. They kicked some serious ass today and just looked plain scary.

Kill the Panthers!

But seriously folks, this is going to the worst, boringest Super Bowl in a while.

The funny thing is, I think this combination of teams has the potential to be the most entertaining of all the possibilities entering the payoffs. We could see a game as crisp & flawless as the no penalties, no turnovers classic we saw in SB XXV when the Giants & Bills played a game that will be forever remembered...hey, two good defenses should at least make for a non-blowout. BUT, but the simple fact that it's the Patriots vs. the Panthers will make it not quiet feel like a Super Bowl. But I do think it'll be an entertaining football game.

Let's go Pats!

But I don't think it will be a blowout given that all of their playoff wins in the last 3 years have been by 10 points or less (I believe that was the stat I heard).

I've had a change of heart on the score... even with Indy's 5 turnovers they were still only a score away 'late in the game' from tying it and Indy has a 'suspect' defense. Carolinas defense is much better than Indy's.

Pats by 3 or less...

the panthers match up the best with the pats. but im not sure if the pats will win, my head tells they will, but my gut says that the panthers will win, so for the first time i am not betting on the super bowl.

and whoever says brady is an MVP calibur player, your wrong. the pats defense carries that team, and brady capitalizes on good field position. and playing mistake free football is not a reason to say he's the best player, otherwise delhomme would get that trophy as well. coming back from a 21 point deficit in the final 6 minutes of a game against the world champions is an MVP. a QB playing with a broken ankle is an MVP.

Go Pats...

How do people still insult Tom Brady??? The kid makes things happen, good things.

Don't forget, this is the QB that marched his team down the field to get the winning points with less than 2 minutes left and no time outs. (vs. the Raiders in 2001)

He also didn't throw a home interception in 330 attempts. That is amazing.

And let us not forget that he has a kick ass coach and players around him that make plays.

so let me get this straight mcnair doenst deserve to be MVP? im not saying that playing with a broken ankle doenst make him an MVP im saying that he played at that level, with a broken ankle, made him an MVP.

but sitting back and relying on your defense, now that doenst isnt MVP worthy.

1. Pennington??? He got no arm-strength and to put him at #1.
8. Plummer--as much as I am a Jake the Snake fan, his bad decision making is a big negative
10. Rick Mirer???----I hope this is not who your thinking of.
14. DelHomme---let's see at least 2 more seasons. Don't forget Rodney Peete started the season. (Can you say David Archer? Remember him w/ the Falcons)

Because of what??? His 1 1/2 good years with the Jets??? Christ, I like the Jets but lets be real, he doesn't got that big gun of an arm (some of the passes he throws look like ducks), he has one of the best play-action fakes I've seen since Boomer Esiason but pretty soon teams will figure him out like the Raiders did in the AFC championship and how he played when he came back.
So which is the REAL Chad??? The one before the AFC game and injury or the one after the injury? If he doesn't take the Jets to the Superbowl, he's just as good as Ken O'brien (and he put up some pretty good numbers when they played the Dolphins!).
