Even though I'm a chick, I'd
be Narrator for sure.

Ok germs this thread lowered my opinion of you so i take back what i said in the troma thread. Anyway as a male I felt and instant connection with the narrator and saw my most likely future.

gee, thanks! and i was gonna ask you to marry me. we could have eloped to vegas. i could have been your baby-producing machine. but not anymore, i guess. that's just too bad.

<i>"In this culture of freedom from authority, accountability, and consequences and of stealing childhood from children, if you let your kids watch *Fight Club* don't be surprised if one day the influence of *Fight Club* hits them right in the face."</i>

doesn't sound like my kind of movie.

Strangely the 'influence' of Fight Club is that people are individuals so CAP once again gets something wrong.

And Brad Pitt, people give him flack for being a pretty boy, but if you look at his filmography you'll see a shitload of GREAT films

His name was Robert Paulson.

Ms. Germs, I must have yelled at you for never having seen this movie. I know a bunch of you haven't seen it, and I think it's so fucking great that I'm with AM in saying you should just buy the DVD.

Also, Mr. Pitt has made some great fucking movies, and in turn has made up for his pretty boy intro to Hollywood by proving himself...12 Monkeys, Se7en, Fight Club, etc.

Yeah, there's always stuff like "The Mexican", but even Orson Welles has to eat. He was the voice of the giant orange with a vagina in Transformers!

As for me, Narrator, somewhere in the transition phase of meeting Durden and coming to realize his purpose in the grand scheme of things, without giving too much away.

Read the book. Read all of Chuck Palahniuk's books. Now. "Fight Club", "Survivor", "Invisible Monsters", "Choke".

how can any movie with that much hype be called underrated. anywho, it's a good film about the evils of conformtity and sanity.

Another great Brad Pitt role- Kalifornia. He's also going to be in the new Coen Brothers (not the one coming out this year with Tony S. but the one after that) which has like no dialogue at all.

Fight Club really didn't have that much hype. It's underrated because not a lot of people saw it, it's underrated because people just looked at the violence and automatically hated it, it's underrated because the Oscars fucking suck.

Overall, I like Brad Pitt.
When I first saw in Thelma and
Louise I immediately wrote him
off as a vapid pretty boy.
Roles in Se7en, 12 Monkeys,
and Fight Club have totally
changed my mind about him. He
would have been way cooler in
Interview with the Vampire if
Tom Cruise hadn't co-starred
in it.
