ERINMORAN - Urinating after sex CAN help reduce the likelihood of bladder infections, but if you do not urinate you will not "be damaged."
As you know, Erin, women are particularly suseptible to bladder infections. Peeing after sex can "flush" harmful bacteria out of the urethra, which in turn can help prevent a bladder infection.
Although men are less suspeptible to bladder infections than women, men can also benefit to a lesser degree for the same reason.
