Looks like Don Chaney is finally gonna get fired today, and Mike Fratello is gonna replace him as coach.

Not my personal choice to replace Chaney with, but anybody is better than lame-duck Chaney.

I hate chaney who is not fired yet which is ridculous the way they are hanging him out to dry but i don't like the czar. His teams are more boring than van gundy's.

What a day in the life of the Knicks today. Don Chaney gets fired (Thank God!!), then Brendon Malone and Lon Kruger get their walking papers as well. They didn't know until late in the afternoon, then supposedly Mike Fratello was hired really wasn't, and then they hire Lenny Wilkens.
Personally, I wished they would've hired Doc Rivers, but Lenny is not bad at all. I think he'll do a great job. I just wonder if this is a one year deal or will he be around longer?
And I wonder what's the next thing that will happen to this team?

I am just as happy as anyone that Chaney is fired and think that it is long overdue. But the way that the Knicks went about doing this was horrible. Don Chaney may not be a good head coach but he is a really good person and Isiah completely disrespected him by telling David Letterman rather then telling Don Chaney that he will be fired. I mean it was pretty obvious anyway but at least give him the common courtesy of telling him this face to face. And lest we forget that after Isiah was fired by Larry Bird he was the one to say that Bird disrespected him and didnt care about his feelings and yet here we are less than 6 months later Isiah does the same thing to Chaney.
