whats with the tournament at wrestlemania IV?
imagine how cool it could have been to have
Savage vs. Steamboat II in the main event. that would have been a classic.

anyone else have memories of how things could have gone, but got screwed up or just failed miserably?
besides the given WCW inVasion angle of course

Well, had Steamboat won over Greg Valentine, he would've met Savage in the second round.

How about if Vince Russo would have walked out of "Russo's Revange" triple cage match and won the title 3 weeks before he beat Booker T. for that very world title, then I wouldn't have been there live to mark out for my man vinny ru's one and only title victory.

Ok as much as I don't follow wrestling and as much as I respect those who do, and knowing it's physical as hell despite what others think...

I'm not sure the word 'history' applies here. I mean haven't many of these guys gone and done things that they would have Never have done? Betrayals, trades, and especially: personas.

Haven't some really watered down their wrestling cred, in terms of a 'known' quantity, meaning, you could say with confidence, DeBiase or whoever would NEVER, Ever do something, or team up with someone, and next thing ya know, there they are.

You guy are way better then this then me, and given I don;t know shit about what's going on; anyone have examples of the above?

-wrestlers who 'flip' whether it be personas, or codes of behavior, or who is friend and who is foe.

-wrestlers that have stuck to whatever code of behavior/honor they always had.

Anyone? Beuller?

-Bret Hart ducks the kick from Goldberg that would give him the concussion that would ultimatly end his career.
- Paul Heyman gets a finacial backer and ECW continues to grow.
- Sting jumps to the WWE in the mid 90s
- Bruiser Brody decides not to beat the shit out of the promoter in the locker room and avoids being stabbed and killed.
- Magnum TA keeps his hands on the wheel, and eyes on the road.

WCW doesn't build up Sting for a year and a half only to be sabotaged by Hogan the night they finally have the match.

decisions. if bret had only stayed with the wwf, the hart foundation story would have continued. thats what got me back to raw from nitro.
and most likely Owen would still be alive today.

i read somewhere HBK dodged losing the belt to Owen somehow, only to majorly injure his back in an Undertaker match in its place. thats fitting.
