I hate the cold. I can tolerate heat more than I can the cold. I am currently wearing snow pants, long socks, boots, and a top. Tonight when I go out, I am going to wear my fuzzy hat, my long furry coat that i got for Christmas, a long scarf, and gloves. I'm such a baby when it comes to this weather. For some reason, it sucks even more when I have my period (like now). I usually get sick to begin with, but cold weather seems to make the pain even worse. My house doesn't have central heating, so its warm in the lower level of the house, but my basement and the 2nd floor are freezing. It's colder upstairs though. It's sad when you walk up there and you can see your own breath. Thank God for portable space heaters.

I never saw what the big deal was. Maybe cause I love the cold and it is still not cold enough out. Give me a foot of snow and then I will be content. Hell, give me iced over creeks and freeze the Delaware River and give me another foot of snow and I will be overcome with glee.

It was around 8 this morning and I took a 5 mile walk.

I loved it.

Call me crazy but this is by far my favorite time of the year. I look at it like you can always dress warmer and layer on and put on more sheets but in the heat the only way to stay cool save staying in the AC all the time is to go around damn near close to naked and throw cold water on yourself every once in a while.

I am just thankful that even in this cold or even in the heat, I have someplace to go to stay cool/warm and have that shelter that protects me from whatever elements are out there. I feel really bad for the homeless that I see in the city that are STILL out there trying to make it for themselves. Granted they could go into a shelter but so many don't.

Speaking of the cold, I gotta check in on the Grandparents to make sure they are warm.
