Just invest in a good pair of clippers. Not the cheapy little travel-size kind, but the decent-sized ones. They cut much smoother and finer and don't leave jagged edges or cut too short. Use a soft soap afterwards and run your fingers (Or toes, in the bath) under warm water for about 30 seconds and you'll be set.

I've seen plenty of men at my nail place getting manicures. Since there is no nail polish on the nails, I don't see it as a "gay" thing. Hell, no woman wants to be fingered by a guy with dirty jagged nails! My boyfriend gets them done occasionally, and he's a bouncer at a club, so don't feel it's a gay thing for a guy to do. Go for it!

I got one once, and when you see that they are doing minor surgery on you, youll be skeeved out and never do it again, plus, if you right after you get any kind of manly liquid on your finger tips, youll scream like a girl.

they are French nail clippers that fold flat, it has something about it that lets you cut the nails very easy with minimal effort and they fold flat. They have them in Remington stores or here (http://www.excaliburcutlery.com/grooming4.html), if you want to check em out online. They are pricey, but they are well worth it ( like $24 or so)
