Is this the beginning of the end for TNA?
Huge News On The Return Of The Outsiders (Hall & Nash)
Story By: Ben Johnson
January 07, 2004
The following news comes from PWTorch.com:
The word going around the scene right now is that Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are likely to appear as a team in NWA:TNA.
While no deal has been made, Kevin Nash has not been offered any position with WWE, and therefore is not set for any return. He has expressed interest in teaming with Hall outside of WWE, and there has apparently been some sort of motion towards working for TNA, although nothing has been confirmed at all.
From a business standpoint, there are many not too confident about this idea, since Nash and Hall are not likely to draw too much of an increased buyrate, and will only make the current top TNA superstars look smaller and less powerful.

funny, you'd think the wwe would keep nash around to use his appearance in Punisher to publicize themselves.

I don't know. I'd like to see them come into TNA with "The Wrestling God'' Vinny Ru and take over. Then again, how much $$ would they want.
If Panda shells out the $$ then YES we will see the outsiders in TNA. They could pay Sting, Hogan,,Hall has been paid before....It's just a matter of time.

The Outsiders...will only make the current top TNA superstars look smaller and less powerful.
I think this is one of the main reasons we won't/shouldn't see them pop up in a TNA ring. Hall might do well on his own (I always thought he could "go" when he wanted to), but put Big Kev in the smaller TNA ring & there won't barely be enough room for him to work. Can you imagine him trying to get that lazy leg up for a big boot with less room than a WWE ring...he would delivering boots to the thigh, instead of his customary boot to the midchest that the annoucer sees as being to face. And with less room to work, I give him 3 in-ring appearances before he trips & destroys whatever little structure he has left to those knees. Just sounds like a bad idea.

You say the ring is smaller in TNA...what is the sizes of these rings in TNA? And what size is WWE? And why are there different ring sizes? I thought they were all the same size.

but put Big Kev in the smaller TNA ring & there won't barely be enough room for him to work.
On the plus side, he'd actually make it all the way to the other side of the ring before he fucks up his leg again.

Hall & Nash are the epitome of washed up and have been for quite some time. TNA doesn't need them. Signing Hogan to a deal - understandable & justifiable. Signing these two to anything but a one-shot apperance where they get jobbed out to whomever you wish (Shark Boy for all I care) - senseless.

Kevin Nash works???
In the RING?!?!?!?!

All you naysayers will be pleasantly surprised.
This is from the Bank Shot...
I can tell you that many of the MAJOR rumors on the internet about TNA are about to be answered in some tremendously positive ways.
...and I'll leave it at that.

So for bringing in these 2 cancers is a good thing?

Okay so Big Lazy is a cancer and horrible in the ring but Scott is not. The combo of these two are electric and can still light up a crowd especially the tiny TNA Asylum.
TW, give it a chance. Don't judge just yet.

I would not give it a chance. I would not want these 2 losers in the WWE. Hiring them would be the beginning of the end for TNA. Whether they want to hire an ex WWE "star" and use them right or try to get these 2 pieces of trash is going against what the TNA was suppossed to be an alternative to WWE not WWE lite. Why not push the guys they made like AMW, Styles, etc and stop paying huge money for guys everyone stopped caring for.
Once they bring in bagwell or ultimate warrior, I officially start the clock on the demise of TNA

Why? WHY? Why do you taunt us with your knowledge? Why can't you be someone who spoils the fun? I want to know!

You know, this would've worked out fine when "The Mouth from the South" Jim Hart was whining about bringing guys to take out Jarret. Substitute Jim "Gimmick" Duggan and "The washed up Gremlin" Rick Steiner with these two, and Hart's threaths would have actually been on the mark. But too little to late huh?
Anyway, does anyone want to start up a pool of how long it takes for Nash to blow out a knee in TNA?

They're.
Not.
WORTH.
It.
Bottom line. One's a crippled fuck who only gives a damn about himself, the other's an unprofessional fuck who stick can't get a hold of his personal life.
Outside of a one shot deal in which they're jobbed like little bitches to a tag team consisting of....I don't know, say, AJ Styles & Chris Daniels, there's NO upswing to signing these two.
Don't become an apologist, Mark.

I was under the impression that when Hall showed up in ECW, he was going to be around for a while, only to mess up a new gig. But my impression was that many people were excited to see him there, and he did well.
I'd like to see him turn it around in TNA. Nash doesn't interest me much, but Hall had done some pretty good work in this last WWE run, so I'll hope he can do something good for himself and TNA. I'm optimistic that way.

Now I'm starving
I'm about to turn it up a notch!

Matt, it seems that way but I do believe that they will help more than hurt the company in the long run.
And Freebird, Hall was and still is one of my all-time favorites. I can't give up on him and neither should any of you.
