so i spent new years in ac (never stay at the surfside hotel) and had a fucking ball. but everywhere i turned, it was eagles this and eagles that. the city is an hour away and there are 2 football teams that play in your state already. what the fuck?

i have to step in here and say that this man is absolutely right....try going to college down that way...they are friggin in love with philly teams...you are lucky they were talking about the eagles and not the more affectionately used 'Birds' Oh man its bad...they all do it...I was once at a Sports bar called Ott's in south jersey and there are 3 big screen TV's next to each other so this one guy turns one of these 3 TV's to his favorite team's game....They all went nuts on him and said the following: "Hey buddy, you're not in Miami you're in Philly now!" I was shocked at how they could possibly consider Washington Township, a half hour drive, Philly.....oh well at none of thier teams ever won the championship while I was there although the 76'ers came the closest

Nothing wrong with that. My uncle lives in Cherry Hill and he's an Eagles fan too. When the Giants played the Eagles, he rooted for them last time he came over to my house.

It's like the Buffalo Bills, even though they're a New York team, more people around here root for the Jets or the Giants.
