I mean in all honesty, no matter what kind of offense they run, they should be succesful. I mean they have a lock on their in-state recruiting and they use that very liberal " practice squad " so they are never under-manned.
People said back in the 90's that they had to change their offense and then they turned around and won 3 of 4 national titles. That in an era when the Fun-N-Gun was more the rage.

There was a column on CollegeFootballNews.com today that was basically saying that Florida should fire Ron Zook so that they can get Spurrier back.
They compared the Zook/UF matchup to a guy ( UF )dating a really hot chick ( Spurrier ) and then she dumps him for another guy ( NFL ), so then the guy meets a rebound chick ( Zook ) and she's alright, but not as good as the hottie but then the hottie dumps her new guy and all of a sudden the original guy has a chance at getting her back. In the end the point was that UF needs to stop messing around and getting Spurrier back so that the team can get back to where they were. I kinda agree. I know Zook did a decent job, but I think that the Ole Ball Coach makes that team.
