I was just glancing at DCRTV and saw this...
"WJFK-FM will dump Bill O'Reilly and make big changes to middays, evenings, and weekends. Don and Mike will continue to create heartburn for JFK management, which will see some major changes. Ron and Fez will get heard in Baltimore (via 105.7)"
So where does everyone think/want them to be, middays or evenings?
Thinking back to the midday callers they had in the past I hope they stay in evenings.
(If this was discussed previously my apologies, I did a quick search and didn't see anything)

I didn't want to start a new thread, but (I cannot belive I am saying this) the dentist has some interesting comments on Stern's numbers drop.

They have been saying the end was near for Stern for years - pretty much even going back to his DC-101 days. That said, I don't think the show is as good as it was 5 or 6 years ago (I blame most of it on the divorce, and him suddenly becoming comfortable being the insider), but I can usually still get a genuine laugh when I listen - which isn't that often, simply because my morning drive is so short these days.
I agree with the Dentist's comment here:
I always thought Howard was his best when he was talking to his own people (usually Robin) about whatever was on his mind. He's still a riot when he hits that groove. These days he doesn't seem to give himself the opportunity to.
The thing I love about Stern is just when they are talking in the studio - just bullshitting and ballbusting. It's something not celebrated - just talking - but with the right mix of people, it can be great. Ron and Fez do it great too - I wouldn't be surprised if you see their show(s) studied by radio people trying to figure out what to do next.
I'm also a big fan of talking with the family members, as long as it brings something to the show (humor, real life drama, etc) - Stern with his wife, mother or father always kept me listening. And while I know the D&M Haters have used it against Don and Mike, the times I've liked their show the best was when their real life bled over (which wasn't "all the time" as the haters like to spin - not quite sure how 2 or 3 calls to a wife duriing the course of a 20 hour radio week results in a reputation of the wife always being on, but there you go - the D&M fanatics are certainly not short of their ridiculousnous either). With Howard divorced, I find the hot girlfriend much less interesting.
Dang...this should have been it's own thread...!

Perhaps you should try to boost up your reading comprehension. The above quote was under the heading of "From The Cracked Crystal Ball - 1/1 - DCRTV's predictions for 2004".

I guess my glancing comprehension does need some work.

This DCRTV page is making more waves.
People were calling the Junkies this morning and asking them when they were moving to DC101. I have to laugh a little.

If Ron and Fez come back they need to be on at night. That's the only time I get to listen to them and Ron and Fez wouldn't hurt me like that by going on during the day.
