does anybody remember the pound puppies? i just remembered today how much i loved that cartoon. howler was probably my favorite. did you know that bright eyes' voice was done by nancy cartwright? she does bart simpson's voice.
i had one pound puppy stuffed toy. the pound puppies were great.
other cartoons i loved:
jem!
care bears
little lulu (i think that was shown in the 70s though)
popples
he-man
smurfs
wuzzles (i barely remember this cartoon but i do remember loving the characters)
my little pony
etc...
my mother barely let me watch tv though...my father was less strict, so i always got to watch tv when my mother wasn't around.
<p><font face="arial">"the first time i saw little weevil he was on the western plain. next time i saw the weevil he was riding a memphis train. he was looking for a home, just looking for a home. when the farmer saw those boll weevils they were in his rocking chair. the next time they were in his corn field and they had all their family there, just fixing up a home. yes, fixing up a home."</font></p>
