Well, Wadd's right about one thing; not enough confessions!!
I'm about to light a nice Marlboro; but I ran from 12:27pm to 12:44pm and I'm pretty sure it was 2.2 miles.
I ran four to five miles; four to five times a week from 1990-1996. I am the slowest runner ever. Glaciers on Ritalin outpace me.
I got five 'Numbers' [what do you call the numbers they give you in running races] from the Spring Lake and Belmar Five mile runs from back then; and fuck it I'm getting a few in 2004.
This is a weak confession; but I am the laziest F ever; and I haven't run, by my calculations in seven years. Fuck.
Will I keep this up? Hellya; because I aint trying.
Boring thread zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good luck... 2.2 miles outdoors in 15 minutes isn't bad if you haven't run in 7 years!
I gotta get off my ass and start working out my self. I am planning a carribean vacay in 6 weeks, and I would take off my shirt right now if my life depended on it.

Swim instead. I took up running a mile and a half five times a week after the college slump set in and I was miserable. And hardly lost any of the weight I wanted to.
I tried swimming laps for about 45 minutes every day and lost much more weight much quicker, got more muscle development, and wasn't anywhere near as awful-feeling afterwards.

Digging tunnels will get ride of those embarrassing fat roles on the back of your neck. I have been digging tunnels for half of my life, that is about 2 years.

Well either dont work out at all and youll play OK and be sore afterwards, but that means not being able to work out beforehand; coz I ran again today and god DAMN my thigh muscles are sore as hell.
Why couldnt the universe be such that Big Macs were health food and the healthiest thing to do in life would be to be as still as possible, never exerting yourself.
You get to a point with running where you're addicted, or actually; you get bummed and feel guilty if you don't run. I don't have that feeling now. I'm gonna go suck on a Marlboro.
[Edit: OK, I took these today and thats a 40 year old me holding the t-shirt the 38 year old me lived in. I can not remember ever wearing something so huge, but the placement of the greasy food stain [yeah, food...that's it...] in front means I once picked up this shirt, tried it on, and I concluded that it fit me. I found it when I cleaned out my closet yesterday. If I ever get that big again, anyone who reads this has my permission to punch me dead in the face. Nice Spandex, DEEK!]
