View Full Version : Dressy Underwear?

Does anyone have 'special occasion' underwear that you wear? I would assume that this is much more prevalent among women than men. As for me, I do. It wasn't something that I was planning on, but I realized the other day that I do it. Normally I wear boxers, but I find that if I'm getting dressed for an 'occasion' I put on one of the pairs of boxer briefs I have. Weird, huh?

By dressy, do you mean recently washed?
It's a special occasion when I wear underwear.

That about sums it up. If there is a chance of a member of the opposite sexseeing me in my skivvies, I'll make sure they are clean. Other than that, all bets are off.

Briefs are for underage boys and ancient old men whose balls have dropped below their knees.

I don't understand how guys can work out in boxers. After an hour, hour and a half of swinging around while working work, it's just uncomfortable. Briefs for the workout, boxers for the casual.

I don't know how anyone wears boxers. When the boys hang low, it's never comfortable. And free-balling anywhere other than to sleep seems insane. And working out in boxers, with no support for the 'bag would cause so much movement I think it would actually make me woozy. But, I was never a big fan of the way tighty-whiteys dug in at the flex of the hip...that's why the boxer brief is the greatest invention since the 'Net.
special occasion underwear = underwear with no holes
Couldn't say it any better. Always have to have a few pair of "brand news" for special occassions...especially if there's a chance of someone other than you seeing them that evening.

Though I'm on record as going with the boxers, i'm having quite a problem resolving another issue besides comfort.
With the boys dangling in the boxers, wouldn't that, over time, sort of develope the suspension system so they wouldn't drop so much later on?
And by the same token, wouldn't the briefs, by artificially giving support, allow the suspension system to get loose?
OR would the gravity acting on the bozack pull the boys down and wear out the suspension system that the briefs would save from wear and tear?
I would really, REALLY like to know.
(They ought to teach you this shit in school)

Actually, my thinking is quite the opposite. Now, I'm no expert, but follow me on this...
Giving the boys more support now & never allowing them to sag means they'll be that much tighter later on. Therefore, even if you get lazy in your old age & start to give them less support, they'll at least have the head start of not being already stretched out.
I recall an interview with Halle Berry where she was asked about her lovely & perky breasts. She said that when she was young, her mother told her to always keep them in a bra, so they wouldn't sag when she got older. She even sleeps in her bra, just in case. And as we all saw in Swordfish, they're still quite perky.
Now, I understand that comparing testes to ta-ta's is borderline insanity...but it's the best buoyancy comparison I could come up with at the moment to illustrate my point.
ps: I had taken to calling the area under the belt the 'undercarraige' some time ago ("ok honey, I'll be right there, just gonna jump in the shower & scrub the undercarraige first")...going with that idea, high fly, you gave me quite a chuckle with the 'suspension system' reference.
