i confess: i have a tv dating show addiction

ever since i've been on break from school, i've really been catching up on my crappy tv watching. i basically had not watched any tv at all since august, so it's been pretty fun just staying up late and watching crap every night. my new thing is really bad dating shows. from midnight until 2am, you can catch blind date, extreme dating, the fifth wheel, and then a second bonus extreme dating.

the shows are really awful. most of the people are incredibly annoying and stupid. a large portion of them are whores. they all have an unhealthy obsession with hot tubs. it's gonna really suck when i have to go back to school and i won't be able to watch them anymore...

Me too....I love these shows. Blind date has lots of porn stars on. Jodie Moore, the aussie assfucker was on there once, just shock tv the whole time though....

I catch some of those shows on occasion. I like Blind Date and I used to like Shipmates. I loved the episodes on Shipmates where the couple hated each other and were stuck with each other for three days. Hilarity ensues...

I also recommend strictly personal on the metro channel, if you get it. It's mostly personal ads, which can be comical, but they've also been showing dates that some of the people who've placed ads have been on. These generally end up in a ball of flame. Occasionally, they will do a where are they now with the 5 people who have used their service successfully. I, too, am addicted to these shows. My reaction always flips back and forth from "Wow, what losers!" to "I should try this!"

I hate all those stupid dating shows, but Cheaters was so funny. I loved the stupid looks on their faces when they would get busted.

Cheater was awesome. The dude who hosted it looked like Vinny Testaverde.

Also Blind date is hilarious, and Shipmates was good.

Anyone see the shipmates, where the two of them hated each other and the guy ended up dumping a Snapple on the chick's head? Classic.

Or the Blind Date, where the date was going horrible and to break the awkward silence the guy asked her, her opinion on abortion. Great stuff.

Ah, I have the same addiction. When 1am rolls around all I do is watch that shit. Although they never are like "Lets go back to my place and we'll see what happens" or "I can give you a nude lapdance".
