This is interesting (http://www.afa.net/petitions/marriagepoll.asp)
It seems the American Family Association is running a poll to gauge the opinions of people on the idea of gay marriage. When i checked it, those for gay marriage had a majority by almost 20 %.
i'm figuring they began the poll so tey could have their own agenda met, but i don't think its working out well for them thus far.

i've got Rembrandt as my right hand and Solo as my pilot.
"Yes! Hurrah for the Revolution! Always! In spite of all! But me, I am no dupe, I have never been a dupe. I cry Hurrah for the Republic the way I would cry Hurrah for Destruction! Hurrah for Expiation! Hurrah for Punishment! Hurrah for Death!".

Neither party wants to be drug into the gay marriage issue during the election year - I predict that it will fade away by the conventions.

Poll worked for me.

I picked the third option.

Why not? Marriage is stupid anyway. Unless you are religous, and buy into the whole going before your god stuff, what's the point. How many people get married based on the religous aspect. And how many people get married because they think it's what they half to do. Plus, what's the divorce rate. If you truly love someone yon don't need a ceremony, and piece of paper.

I could care less about who or what someone marries. Laws about Marriages, gay or not, should be made by the states proper, and not the federal government. I don't want a blanket decision either way...States Rights must reign supreme...

Online polls are a joke and these idiots should have known it. They must have thought that they'd be able to steer enough like-minded people to their poll, and have the fact that respondents will be added to their email list work as a deterrant for the non-like-minded, and they'd get a nice little distorted poll to send to Congress. But it looks like the other side is outdoing them on sending their poll around to their people. Morons. Even if they got a poll that's 75% in their favor they'd give it to all the Congressional staffers and it would go right in the trash of all but the most freakishly Christian. They should have just sent cheap hookers instead.
