it should be all flights into the US, but it won't be that. They'll focus on main transfer points out of France, Holland, and Mexico. Others as well. I wonder though if this will keep up after we return to yellow...

I never thought when I was growing up that we would live in a police state like this. Do you realize how many Marshals they will need to quasi-guard ALL flights? (lots) Is it really fun to have guns pointed at you while you're trying to party & have a good time in Times Square? (no) Who is paying for all this bullshit fucking security? They wanted the Marshals to be seated in coach.

People are lazy so I'll paste my comments from that thread.

Well this is an issue I feel very seriously about, make no mistake about that. But this isnt just an American problem, it's a global problem. Something the current administration has done is seperated itself from these other nations instead of embracing them and working hand in hand with these countries.
We need to finish what we started in Afganistan. We have suceeded in defeating the Taliban but there is still much left to be done in that country. And most importantly we need to stop putting billions of dollars into an empty war, stop the killing, bring our boys home, and put the money in our homeland security where it needs to be spent. I support air marshalls on all flights that enter U. S airspace. We need to start taking a better look at the security of our railroad system and out reactors and other landmarks around the country. We need to start inspecting the thousands of containers that enter our seaports on a daily basis. We need to start tracking down visitors with expired visas and most of all, we need each and every citizen of this country to be aware of their environment..
