View Full Version : Afghan Food
I am hoping all the people on RonFez.net can help me out with something. I have been interested in trying Afghan food, and was wondering what the food is like. I mean, basic ingredients tradionally used, and methods of cooking the food. I am very familiar with Indian food, and was wondering if there were any similarites. Thanks you smart mofos!

Its weaird, Ive been temped to try it myself. Indian food too, after hearing people rave about it. I think its probably has currey and alot of vegetables and small amounts of meat. probably the spice isnt so "hot" as it is aromatic. I usually am scared to try new stuff too! They have a few Afghan places near where I work in Hicksville

The two cuisines are similiar in the wide array of spices that they use. The cooking methods are similiar, as well. Afghan doesn't carry the heat (spiciness, not temperature) of Indian food, though. It is a bit milder. An Afghan menu is not as elaborate. It's pretty basic with kebab dishes of poultry, meat, and fish. Very flavorful, though. When in the city, try Afghan Kebab House #2 on 46th Street. My favorite dish is as basic as it gets...the rice. You must ask for an additional serving, but only at this location. It is not as good at any of their other locations. The address is 155 W. 46th Street.

It's not censorship because people can't come here and post/say whatever they want in the first place.

Throw a dirty rag on your head and eat rocks.
(a jackrag is fine)
Then take
1 carton of eggs
1 jar of curry
1 bomb belt
1 suicide bomber
Blow up bomb and scramble eggs. Eat eggs off bloody sidewalk. Flagellate.

afghan food is yummy. ME and my daddy had some in Baltimore and we found it to be an interesting mix of Greek and Indian. Indian food is better i think tho, its off da chain.
