My main gift was a Canon Z60 Camcorder...its really nice, but I think Im going to record it to get the Z65MC. A digital camcorder that doesnt have a USB hookup? Its just doesnt make since!

Clockwork Orange, Blue Velvet, Goodfellas, Warriors, Hellfest 2000, Facedown Records DVD, and the Eulogy Records were the DVDs.

Prince of Persia and Double Dash were the games.

I didn't ask for or deserve anything this year so I gave and gave quite a bit. You know, it felt good. Everyone pretty much knew my stance going in and everyone complied. It didn't stop the cards though which was all I really wanted. An adknowledgement of the holiday and Best Wishes.

I still have gifts to give to friends and fellow board member if I ever see any of you. Who knows if I will get anything then.

The best gifts are always the ones that you aren't expecting and are things you would never buy for yourself; the one that fit that bill for me this year was a boga grip:

Despite the fact that they're nearly indispensible when you're salt water fly fishing, I've never been quite able to justify the $200 pricetag to myself. I did get a lot of other things that were quite nice, but they're things that I specifically asked for; the boga grip was totally unexpected and therefore the coolest. I just hope I will get to use it if I can land a bonefish on the flats fishing trip to Key Largo in February that I also got :)

Mostly stuff for my bar- glasses and a fancy corkscrew. The corkscrew is similar to "The Rabbit", but not the same one. Works pretty damn good too, used it to open a couple of bottles at my sister's house.

I also got a rack of "Dave's Insanity" hot sauces. That, along with the Blair's Death and Possible Side Effects sauces I have should keep me tided over for a few months.

Okay I got all sorts of neat shit, but the oddest was a "Full Spectrum" lamp that is supposed to relieve the symptoms of "Seasonal Affective Disorder" aka SAD or winter depression.

This thing was really expensive, but more improtantly someone in my family apparently thinks I'm nuts.

Not to sound cheesy, but this is the best Christmas I've had in YEARS! I spent it with skidmark's dad, stepmom, his sister and her family, and his brother. We opened presents and spent the day playing video games and looking through old family photos (skid was so cute when he was a kid... when he had hair and stuff! :p ) Dinner was great. His nieces are such good kids and so funny. It was nice when skid's stepmom said, "Well, you're part of the family now, so your on your own to get your own drinks." :)

Then skid and I went home and started our own Christmas tradition. We got high and watched (the original) Texas Chainsaw Masacre.
