When you download a font from the internet and you wanna add that to your collection of fonts, you would go to "Windows Explorer" "C drive" the"Windows" folder then paste it in the "Font" folder located in the "Windows" folder.

Now that's how it worked for Windows 98. But I try it now on XP and it doesn't work. WHY??

Can someone help me out here?

"Q-Tips, why do they call it Q-tips? I see the tip, but I don't see the "Q". They should call it lower-case "L" tips. I mean yes, we could call them "I" tips because they look like the letter "I" but people might get confused and start using it for their eyes instead of their ears."- Defcon4Dan

On XP you go to Control Panel-Appearance and Themes (then on the right you''ll see "See Also", go to Fonts-File-Install New Font.

Then pick where you downloaded the font.

I just drag it into the font folder. Sometimes it takes a moment or two to show that way, though.
