Nader Flapping His Gums (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20031219/us_nm/politics_nader_dc)

This I agree with him on:

"The Democrats are damaging each other far more than any Green campaign could. What they are saying about Dean ... all that will be used by Republicans."

Two of his biggest Hollywood supporters seem split - Michael Moore seems to be backing the Dems, while Ani Difranco appears to be willing to back him again.

I think he's got an excellent chance of winning!

I voted for him the first time, I liked alot of his ideas and philosophies. I don't think I will vote for him again- He is a big proponent of cutting military spending, and being in the midst of WWIII, I don't think that is the best of ideas.

Dammit KOP! You're trying to make my head explode, aren't you?!

Nader just can't stay out of the spotlight, even if it means helping out those with whom he has the biggest differences, politically. There's no altruism here, no real concern for making things better for Americans.
No, this is all ego, all greed, as he can command greater fees for public appearances as a "former candidate for president".

If he comes around here, I'm pelting him with dog doo.

Now excuse me while I go kill something...

I don't know what he could gain from running again. He'll be shut out of the debates, he'll never make the 5% goal, he'll get bashed by the democrats, and his message will be drowned out. I don't think he's going to run. As much as I want him in the debates, to bring issues up that the two parties have agreed to ignore, I hope he doesn't run. He wasn't responsible for electing Bush, but it would just be pointless this time around.

How do you know this?

Since when is your way THE way to make things better for America?

If the guy thinks he can make a difference, he should be allowed to run. I don't know why you're worried - the Democrats will not live or die, win or lose based upon the Green party vote.

He wasn't responsible for electing Bush

That was the Supreme Court's job, right?

Jesus Christ.

I agreed with Yerdaddy's post...and then with Se7en's post RIGHT AFTER IT.

Is it safe to look out the window?

Have I ever made that claim?

And this would be different from 2000, how?

He the 2000's version of Ross Perot!

A lot of people forget that Perot was a legitimate centrist. The only other strong third party candidates who could make that claim are Roosevelt and Bryan. Yes, much of his support came from Republicans (In some counties, his support was almost identical to the support of Wallace in 68) but he was truly in the middle.

Nader is just proving that he is a egomaniac. In this election, the Democratic front runner is Howard Dean who has intends to challenge Corporations, the War, Polluters, etc., making a 2004 campaign by Nader unneccessary. Even if you are in the slim minority of people who agrees with Nader 100%, you must realize that even if he won by some electoral miracle, he would never get any of his plans through Congress.

I'm Lefty Lefterson, and I'd vote for Perot before Nader.

I am busy stuffing myself with fattening foods, because I am not large enough to hold all the hatred bubbling inside of me right now.
