This thread is about Hardcore Holly's push. I can't stand this man. There is a difference between being a prick on tv (HHH) and being an asshole in real life. I have so much hatred and contempt for this man. What he did in Tough ENough was Bush league. This guy is a nothing. A Zero. I hope to God they cut him. TNA would be complete morons to dsign him.

Why is he getting a title push. What happened to Cena? What happened to benoit? Smackdown was terrible tonight. Benoit gets stuck wrestling the FBI and Holly gets a title shot.

I usually defend Vince but this I cannot. I do not wish this on anyone, but I can only hope Brock injures him again.

It's the same problem they've always had - for the past couple years, at least.

When they decide to push someone different, they wind up pushing the WRONG guy. See Orton, Randy.

Hell, it took severals months of jobbing out ALL the top stars to Brock before he got over.

But see.......no one gives a shit about Holly. He's always been nothing more than midcard fodder, and will never be anything more.

A Benoit / Lesnar feud should be the best option, as Cena's not ready for a run in the main event yet.

I think people should give Hardcore a shot. They never pushed him like this and I think crash always brought down his serious side. This is his shot, I honestly think they are giving him the chance to make an impact on the WWE before he fades off into the backround.

Pantera, did you actually watch the tag match with holly & moore vs a train & morgan? IT SUCKED! Holly stayed out for most of the match until he got tagged in to do the, "rampaging face" angle which just showed him giving limp punches and no-selling moves. I kept thinking that if they're giving the guy a shot, his skills must have improved, but they didn't. He's just as bad if not worst than before, and a PPV with him and Brock would look terrible. Bring back Benoit already!

And I was pissed when he got a run at the IC title a few years back...thank God I rarely remember to watch SmackDown. With Angle on the shelf, if they took Benoit & Eddy off the show, I would never even consider watching again.

If Cena becomes champ real quick I prolly wouldn't watch Smackdown. Cena's in ring skills are lacking behind Test's yet he's getting such a buzz from everyone and their dentist because of his mic skills. If that's how it works then I understand why Trips is champ again.

They've never pushed him like this for several reasons.

He doesn't have the charisma to be a top guy, and he's a mediocre or average worker at best. He's NOT the kind of guy who should be getting main event pushes - at BEST, he's midcard material.

Benoit, Guerrero, Cena, Rey Jr. - all of them are more deserving of a main event push, and would be more widely accepted by the fans as well.

Holly is getting the push that Benoit deserves and has deserved going back to WCW. I just can't understand why WWE writers would think there's so much drama ending a Smackdown with an image of Holly staring at Lesner. And are we to believe that Brock Lesner would fear this dimwit with no mic skills at all?

I agree that Benoit deserves the main event push too, but look at it from his point of view. Maybe he's happy where he's at. Some guys don't want the pressure of being on top. When your the champ the company is resting on your shoulders, and the way rating are and attendance is at house shows that would reflect on you. I know guys in the military that don't want to advance because of the responsibility that comes with it. TNA is up and coming and will hopefully be sucessful, but for now , WWE is the cash cow,ther's now many other options now. If he has an unsuccessful run as champ, I'm sure he doesn't want to move much further down the card, he might be happy getting his momnet in the sun every couple of months.
