You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

It has to be said, at least by me. I live in NYC, listen to these type shows, and am on familiar terms with the morning guy. I usually leave the negative alone, but its been bugging me for a while now. THE RON AND FEZ SHOW has legs, it has a shot ( another one) but this guy WB is lame, he is a bad fit, whilst AL, holy f, am I wrong ?? This is a big buisness, bring back AL, dump this WB the buddies need to get back here, but with a guy like this ( ok AL sucked too as a producer, but his flare on air killed, tell me i'm wrong)

What you're forgetting is that it took well over a year to break Al Dukes down and drive him crazy. WB is slowly making his way down the the path and will eventually crack himself. Little by little Ron and Fez chip away at him and eventually he'll go completely insane. It's classic cruel circus radio at it's best.

MY point is King, this show is not coming back with this guy, he is completely plain, there is no character or substance, the world is here NYC ok, ( no offence to anyone not here, but in radio, the world is NYC, at least in the USA) , it really bugs me that they satisfied with this idiot. AL was an idiot, but one big entertaining one.

they want him to be AL,............not happenin, its lame.

Do you think they're satisfied with him? Or is it more likely that they're making the best of it that they can with what they got.

Ron and Fez won't be back in New York airwaves for a while. Blink will likely endure several more programming flips, while K-Rock will likely stay as it is. If anything the show is in a holding pattern with better and better ratings, making its way towards smaller syndication. As the show grows and makes it way to other markets they will have a better shot at making it back to NY airwaves.

Don't think that people like myself haven't stopped writing letters or calling, because we do, as we have since day one that they were taken off the air. The show is doing very well, it's getting better with each day, and it's clear to me that they know that they can only go so far with WB, so they're using him for all the comedy they can, and they're exploring more ways to entertain their listeners. I want them back in NY just as much as you do, but it's going to take small steps and lots of support from the fans to get it back.

Al Dukes is not coming back and it is an unrealistic topic to even debate . However, I think bringing Billy Staples to D.C would have been the best case scenario for the show. Unfortunately I think that may be impossible now as well.

I could not believe when he left the show.

That is the ONE person they should have kept no matter what.

No matter what.

Nothing was better to me than Ron and Fez letting loose on Billy.

He was true comedy gold and the show hasn't hit the high laugh mark for me since his absense : (

Billy is and was funny!!!!

Al was great to goof on but he was an idiot. He would almost always bring the show to a stand still. He was very annoying to have on the air.

Al was a little whiny cry baby.

Remember, Pigfarmer Zeke was their 5th choice. They went with him because the other 4 had jobs or didn't want to move. I'm guessing he was behind Rory Hamptons, Hawk, Mikey D, and Harry Elvis.

Billy was funny, and has a ton of heart. Loyal to the show, but he is partying again. I don't think they'd bring him to DC when he's doing bumps in the bathroom again.

Al was only funny because they hated him, and they pulled a blanket party on him every night. They don't seem to loathe him quite so much since the move to DC. And he was a better producer than 'Boy

Mikeyboy, just stating my opinion , no need to attack a guy who works a whole lot and doesn't really have time to "post". And you are right, I have no idea about comedy, though the 'morning competition' has me go upstairs once in a while, and we all know he'S NOT FUNNY ?
I really think they can do alot better than WB, ok . Meant no offence to your friend.
