Thoughts on TNA's last Live PPV of 2003

So for those that ordered it or got it via scrambler, what did you think? This was by far the best show I've seen since the week before the Anniversary Show.

Unexpectedly (is that even a word?), all the matches delivered. No mention of Hogan. Sting and Triple J set the tone with a great match as the opener. "The Lord of the Ring" Christopher Daniels and Sabin lit it up but a Skipper run-in foiled it. The Nashville Streetfight between Gilberti/Young and AMW was fun as hell. Ladders and tables were used like they have never been used in TNA! The Dream Match that pitted D-Lo/AJ and Simon Swinger was right on although Jarrett screwed both my guys. Just gotta love to hate Triple J. Then came the X Division Title Match with Low Ki and unworthy champion Michael Shane with the lovely Traci at his side... he doesn't win this high octane match carried by Low Ki but it set up the Ultimate X2 storyline. And finally the 6 Man Rage in the Cage Match, Abyss/Red Shirts vs. Raven/Gathering pulled out all the stops and The Gathering eventually screwed Raven! Raven doesn't get a title shot but the blood and fun that was had could not be more worth it!

TNA, you set the tone for 2003... 2004, time to drop the hammer!

Sounds like it was a great show. I guess I'll have to break down & get digital cable again to begin ordering these since theyn don't offer a webcast (or do they & I couldn't find it on the site?).

I've only held out this long because I had digital during last year when Comcast ran a special for the 6 months when the Sopranos was on. By the time the season ended & the offer was up, I couldn't wait to throw the digital converter back at Comcast. The 3 second lag between changing channels...the picture pixel-ating (if that's even a word...the digital equivalent of scrambling) whenever the weather was bad...the fact that in 6 months I think we found three OnDemand movies to order & twice we got "Service Temporarily Unavailable" and never got to see the movies (but still got charged for them).

I still can't believe Comcast took all PPV capabilities off their analog package, rendering my hot-box useless. But with the quality of the WWE product, I guess TNA is where I'll be getting my entertainment in 2004...especially if Mr. PPV winds up on the roster soon.

I hope Jarret is going away agin for a bit, he was in almost EVERY MATCH last night and it was getting sickening....wh was the focus not to long a go like this, but dropped the belt and went away a for a bit (mostly to run backstage)

Am I the only one wishing Mike Tenay got his head ripped off...I hate that pompus ass

the Gathering swerve was well done though

I'm starting to really like the DOA Watts

just ordered my TNA calander and "Best of the x-Division" DVD

one more thing: ULTIMATE-X 2, ULTIMATE-X 2!!!!!!!!

I still can't believe Comcast took all PPV capabilities off their analog package, rendering my hot-box useless. But with the quality of the WWE product, I guess TNA is where I'll be getting my entertainment in 2004...especially if Mr. PPV winds up on the roster soon.That really sucks Jon.

And about TNA being the place for 2004... you have NO idea! Hhehehehe.
