After months of getting underappreciated and freed from their "boss" Raven, it came to a head! They screwed Raven in the Rage in the Cage and he surprisingly doesn't get his World Title shot on January 7th, 2004.
The Rage in the Cage delivered and that CM Punk 20 foot elbow drop onto two stacked tables was awesome! Ohhh mmy Gooood!
Thoughts?

A Raven / Punk feud is a GOOD thing.
Now, all they need to do is to let Punk start cutting promos like he does in RoH and this feud could be money.

Goldilocks?
Punk can do great promos, but TNA wouldn't give him the time to shine.

Unless of course he changes his name to "Jarrett".

I'm assuming so.
But forget about Punk, Mark. Forget about how good the guy is - how many great matches he's been in on the indy scene and in RoH. He's not in the WWE, so he's worthless, right?

Some how in TNA it seems that you can receive a push and still not get the time to show off your abilities. Just ask Lynn and Credible.

Actually, he was asked about that on a MLW fan-board, and here's his reply:
I am Straight Edge. Straight Edge is a sub culture started by a hard core band named Minor Threat in the early eighties. To make a long story short straight edge means I'm drug free and alcohol free. The band Minor Threat, I can remember sitting in detention reading a magazine interview with their guitarist Brian Baker who is now in the band Bad Religion and it was a simple question, the interviewer asked him why he had a Coca-Cola tattoo and his reply was, "I like Coca-Cola". So normally when people ask me why I have a Pepsi tattoo I stymie them with "I like Pepsi.", because then it confuses them. It actually represents me not smoking or drinking, mainly drinking. I used to polish off a case of Pepsi in less than a week watching wrestling. Where I grew up in Chicago a lot of the frat guys would get beer tattoos so this was my way of throwing them the middle finger in their face. That along with most of my other tattoos have several meanings.
So bottom line, I like Pepsi, I don't drink, and I hate frat boys.

Feh. Credible has no abilities to show off.
I've heard Punk isn't THAT straight edge. Maybe he doesn't smoke or drink or do drugs, but the no pre-marital sex? I've heard rumors. Can't fault the guy, though.
