Fucking bearded Sadam was the prime minister of Canada in tonights episode. If you did'nt see it, the boys go to Canada to see the P.M. to get Kyles adopted Canadian brother Ike back. It turns into a Wizzard of Oz spoof, and when they find the P.M. behind the curtain, it is bearded Sadam. How fucking quick are Matt and Trey?

They did this once before with that Cuban Gonzalez kid and Janet Reno. The show gets better with age......

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

Arguably one of the best shows ever. Those two are geniuses.

This was a very good season, capped off by a great finale. That was great when Kyle punched Cartman.

Maybe I will have to check it out again. Shows of other priority have just taken over and the last few I did see a few years back just got kind of old. I like my shows douched for that fresh feeling every now and again.

the show got really annoying when it started "following" a formula (the same for evey episode) and basically adapting storylines to historic films.

South Park got weak when they were trying to do a movie and a weekly tv show. It picked up again after that.

funny last nite.

Well, I'm sure other people could have thought of putting Sadaam in their cartoon, But how quick is the SP staff? How the flying fuck can Sadaam be captured Saturday evening, news leaked Sunday Morning and Southpark has time to put any reference to it on a Wednesday cartoon?

Even live action shows aren't that fast, and I hear simpsons takes months to make, so they try not to be too topical.

I haven't watched southpark since the movie came out, I'm guessing season 2 because I have no idea why the cover of SP season 3 DVD has them looking like Pokemon cartoons. I guess I should check out the show. What season are they on now? Is Kenny Dead yet?

Here is what someone wrote about the elian gonzalez story.
http://www.adequate.com/img/cgi/SouthPark/episodes/403.jpg

By Rob Owen, Post-Gazette TV Editor

As Kyle's mom would say, "WHAT, WHAT, WHAAAAT!"

Wednesday night's "South Park" seemed freakishly ripped from the headlines. The episode featured Romanian quintuplets caught in an international custody battle just like the Elian Gonzalez saga.

The episode featured an Easter Sunday rescue, complete with the image of a SWAT team member holding a gun to one of the quints hiding in a closet. For the raid Janet Reno dressed up as the Easter bunny.

Debbie Liebling, "South Park" executive producer and senior vice president of original programming for Comedy Central, said the animation process for "South Park" allows for quick alterations.

"The technology has been perfected and the level of computer equipment has really fast rendering capacity," she said in a phone interview yesterday. "The show can be and has been animated in a week, but it does involve people working around the clock."

Liebling said "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone had begun writing the episode last week intending to parallel the Elian story. After the raid Saturday morning, they rewrote scenes to increase the timely satirical content.

This "South Park" episode will be repeated tomorrow at 10 p.m. Six new episodes of the animated series will air weekly starting June 21.

well, if they were already planning the epsiode like this, it's easy enough to just swap out on head for another. It would be interesting to know what they had been planning up till Friday.

And it takes 8 months to do an episode of the Simpsons.

Well, if all they did was redo the end, they did a great job in 3 days! It seemed as if the whole episode seemed to lead to the big payoff in the end. They even mentioned the part of the movie plot, with the Canadiens yelling at Sadam about how he had already tried to take over there country once before. Guys, if you have not watched in a while, you HAVE to check it out. Some really funny shit going on.

Not just the new picture of Saddam, they also had a new song at the end during the parade saying how America captured Saddam.

And it takes 8 months to do an episode of the Simpsons.

Kind've pethetic with all the shipping off to asian countries for cheap animation.

This show has to be the most kick ass cartoon ever. I only wish CC varied the epesodes the showed, because they're always picking out 1 or 2 epesodes to replay and replay them about 4 or 5 times that week.
