Stuff you used to drink that's so bad you're embarrassed to admit it now.

From a rather long list, I'll start it off with:

Malt Duck.

Fizzy and sweet, before I got a good taste for beer, I used to slug this stuff down like crazy....

I loved Crazy Horse back in the day and still do. My favorite memory regarding it was getting a girl to stick a bottle of it between her legs and jump around the room, "Riding the Crazy Horse." (Think kid on a broom horse.

My entry: Golden Anniversary. Now that I have more than 4.99 to put down for a case of beer, I don't need to chew this swill down anymore.

Fire Water...

I used to drink this, but I would wake up and not remember anything that had happened. Not too good waking up next to someone you'd rather bite off your own arm than wake them up. Now that's ugly...

instead of using out intelligence and efforts for good, me and my best friend at 14 spent all our time trying to figure out how to obtain alcohol. We bought one of those beer home brewery kits, because since the product is not alcoholic yet, it can be sold to minors. We then brewed our own beer in my friends bathroom. It was terrible, but i cant lie and say we only made one batch.

Hahaha!

I visited my best friend who went to college in Poughkeepsie one weekend. We pooled our money together and had enough for a six of Lowenbrau and just enough left over for a six of Blatz. After 3 Lowenbraus, Blatz almost seemed palatable!

Southern Comfort is HORRID. I somehow acquired a half full "jug" of the crap after hanging out with some friends. It was the summer of 1988. I was about 20. My dad had just been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Me and same best friend went to our old middle school one evening with that bottle of SC and some OJ. We got obliterated! I was sicker than a dog the next day. How I survived my next day waitressing, I don't know!

Steel Reserve and Silver Thunder. $1.25 for a forty of silver thunder plus you get the wonderful addition of having a rancid beer smell permeating from your pores. i used to buy one and fill a super big gulp cup from 7-11 with it and walk around red bank. Oh, the good old days.

"You guys, do you know where i can find the clitoris?"
"what is that like finding jesus or something?"

When I was a freshman at Seton Hall (Christ...over 11 years ago) Meister Brau was the cheapest by the case at the local liquor stores (at least the ones you didn't have to risk your life going to...which makes it a very small list in lovely, downtown South Orange, NJ).

We used to have monthly "Meister-Madness" competitions. The stuff was so awful, puking was permitted, the winner was just the first dummy to force himself to down 24 cans of the golden potion.

Swear to Baal I did not. I've only ever seen it at the "urban" liquor stores around me when I lived down in Norfolk, VA. for a couple years. And I only say "horrid" in how lowly and desperate drinking either must have seemed. I actually thought they were delicious and wonderful and beautiful and I would have married them if I could have done so legally.

The only thing I used to drink that I don't anymore is Red Dog. And everyone used to drink Honey Brown, which I couldn't stand. But i'm not one to say no when offered a beer.

Also, I like Southern Comfort, but then maybe i've just not normal.
