Personally, I think some Photoshop artists are great, and some do incredibly good work.

As long as people have pictures and photoshop, they'll tweak 'em. I've done it... (digital boob jobs aside) but there's nothing wrong with that site at all.

DCG at Comics 2 Film has a ton of work on there.

You did NOT just call me out on a thread in the confessional. Bad mod! Tsk tsk. I asked IF there was a point to this thread, however I did not the bash the thread because of the lack of direction.

Look, I understand that Too Cute's threads have a certain amount of sarcasm on it. However, I'm unsure how to react to this.

1) Is she bashing other geeks because they are photoshopping?

2) Does she think it's weird that people do that?

The one sentence post she has indicates that. At least, to me it does.

So if you call her on it, w/o getting the point she was aiming for, (SINCE I KNOW ALL TOO WELL THAT SARCASM DOES NOT TRANSLATE WELL INTO TEXT!!), it turns into a flamewar.

Which is why I asked what the point was. She answered my question, she found it "funny". I'm not sure if she means funny ha-ha or funny queer, but whatever.

I added my own commentary, with my two cents, which are valid points.

Ahhhhhh...how the geeks like to call out other geeks! I have a friend who gets mad that people will be in a line before us, even though there may be only 10 people right ahead of us - to him, they are lesser, and more geeky. He just doesn't like having a mirror held up to his face, is all.

I have to say I was very disappointed that there were no Wonder Women in that batch (errrr...so to speak) - lots of Elektra and Phoenix, which I understand, but Sue Richards (!) and "Aurora"?? Where's the respect for the old school babes that started it all?
