View Full Version : Eye Treatment for Dark Circles
Steels

While it would be nice if there was a dermatologist amongst the board I'll settle for ordinary member's opinions on solutions and/or treatments for dark circles under the eyes. I am only 26 but I do notice some light darkness from time to time and am curious if there is something a person can do to treat this thorn in so many people's sides. I notice the progression of this on others so is there something a person can help themselves with if treatment is started early?

If it's just from time to time and not permanent, isn't it more likely it has something to do with your sinuses or a lack of sleep as opposed to an actual cosmetic issue?

Are dark circles under the eyes a sign of age? I wasn't aware of that... anyway my favorite under-eye treatment is <a href="http://www.zirh.com/product_detail.asp?ProductID=120">Zirh "Restore"</a>
<center><img src="http://www.zirh.com/images/products_lg/restore_2oz_prop.jpg"></center>
Formulated to help reduce puffiness and discoloration under eyes. Restore makes skin around the eyes healthier and more resilient by healing collagen and locking in moisture.
Key Ingredients: Caffeine Extract, Cucumber Extract, Chamomile, Hyaluronic Acid, Pcynogenolr.
>>Discover what Hollywood insiders already know -- ours is the one that works.
>>Note: If the root cause of dark circles is an allergy or sinus issue, consider seeing your doctor. No product can completely eliminate these dark circles.
It really really works, I've compared it to other creams (which seem to do nothing for puffiness) when I've had allergies etc. It visibly makes the area around your eye look better.
I guess using it now will help prevent sagginess that could contribute to dark looking circles under your eyes in the future.
But I really suspect the best remedy is more sleep.

I believe it is permanent but it really is only slightly dark, most wouldn't even notice. I have skin treatments for my face and was wondering if there was one for that area. Not a quick fix or a concealer, something along the lines of a daily treatment.

Should there be a upfront ban on any obvious "American Pyscho" jokes in this thread?

In addition to cremes and concealers, there is a laser treatment that can make them go away for about 10 years.

I concider myself pretty young and I have dark circles under my eyes. I don't know if it is lack of sleep or mabey I have a kidney problem but the circles combined with my pasty white skin give me that natural gothic vampire look that chicks love.

I've been working with Dermatologists for about 3 years now and this is by far the most effective product...
<img src=http://www.lovelyskin.com/largeprodimages/453055871.jpg>
"Teamine eye complex contains the only ingredient proven to reduce dark circles under eyes, reduce puffiness, firm and tighten sagging, loose skin and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. "
I've used it and have been very happy with it. It takes about 2 weeks of use before results kick in but they're pretty dramatic.

Maybe just me but it seems to be common for people from the Middle East to have darkness under or around the eyes...

I have noticed the dark circles too...I think there are alot of factors that play a part. I dont sleep well, I dont eat right, and I'm a smoker. ( I dont want to hear it people). I have also started noticing the little lines too.....oh god....I was just 16 yesterday.
This thread sucks.

You've probably heard the ads for Hydrolyze (http://www.hydroleyes.com/) on XMonline.
If you have dark circles, like I do, you might want to call for the free trial. I did, and the stuff works.
And I think the XM Sales team would be happy to know one of their advertisers' products worked.
