done it with my scalp but i didn't worry about any penmarks, figured they'd wash off...

one time my two older brothers were arguing and the one brother started booking through the rooms in our apt. The other brother jumps out and throws a pen. Next thing i see is my brother 'who got hit with the pen' running with a pen stuck in his arm...

still amazes me and makes me laugh...
