Should I throw out my High Shcool Yearbooks?

OK, so as I am cleaning my room, I come across my 3 High School yearbooks. I didn't get one Freshman year.

Now they're not in good shape anymore. You see, I hated my High School, so I took them in and let my friends write in them all they wanted. We had SO MUCH fun scribbling in little captions and mean shit. Some of those people were RACIST TOO! Can you imagine?

Then after I graduated, I found the need to cut and burn them a lot for some reason. For example, my senior year book is completly unbound. It's 2 hard covers and a pile of glossy, charred, wax covered pages.

So, knowing THIS, should I just throw them away of tape them up and throw them in a box to laugh at on some later date? And they are funny! I almost pissed myself reading them last night!

And the great thing is I went back to them multiple times! I had my school friends write in them, my out of school friends write in them, and then years later I picked them up again and updated them with more jokes and insults.

So, what do you degenerates think?

DMMoe; Keep them, but not for the sentimental HS bullshit most people keep them for. All the abuse heaved on those have now transformed them into a Snapshot of the period between when you got them, and now.

And I mean Snapshot intentionally, because once you hit 40 [am I the only one who mentions age constantly?], even a period as long as that will seem like an instant. And an eternity too; the whole Yin/Yang thing, I'm not getting myself across here as I'd like, but keep that shit.

I threw out a shitload of old love letters i got from a chick; the First, ya know, and tougher, college letters from a guy who died a violent train death. Sat down, read each one carefully, and chucked them. No regrets there for some reason.

At best: Chuck them, but take a couple of cool pictures of the weirdest parts, make a collage, and post the fucker here! As Gunnery Seargent Hartman would say: You could be a Modern Art Masterpiece!

If they entertain you keep them... its always good for a laugh, especially if by chance you ever run into the "popular" kids and get to see if they've degenerated into losers. My favorite was running into this girl who used to torment me in middle school for being a "freak". Ahhhh she gained about 100lbs and was working at a gas station. Of course she tried to act all nice to me like we had been best pals in school. Who's the freak now? YEAAAAAA

I have none of my hs yearbooks and I'm glad... I never showed up for class pictures but they got two stupid pictures on me in my junior year - one was an awful full page picture of me wearing a black vinyl dress with black and white striped stockings and combat boots and the other was my prom picture which was the opposite - white vinyl dress with white fishnet stockings and silver hair. my sister still pulls it out sometimes to mock me... and the stupid ass local applebees puts pictures from the yearbook up on the walls and lo and behold the stupid prom picture is up on their wall

Just to clarify, it took me a long time, but I understood the problems were with ME and not THEM in high school. So I acutally hold no ill will against any of these people. Well, most of them. They were rich kids, so they have a good chance at getting a good head start into college and businesses around here too, so I'm sure most to all of them are doing better than me. I can't say what kind of people they are, but that's none of my concern anymore.

I only have my senior year high school yearbook, but the copy I have isn't mine. It's a friend's. We traded yearbooks so we could write in 'em, and we never switched them back.
