Does anybody remember having one of these? I had COMPLETELY forgotten about them until today. SO fuckin' great. You got the fake replacement blades, and the fake shaving cream. I remember how badass I thought I was shaving with one of these when I was like 6. Every kid should have a fake shaving kit!

It was just some plastic "razors" and you got a little thing that had some foamy soap in it. And you basically just put it on your face and wipe it off with the plastic "shaver". I had so much fun pretending to shave. If only real shaving were such fun.

This reminds me of that SNL skit with Dan Ackroyd... "Yeah, it's safe for the kids... it's a bag of glass... it says clearly on the bag, 'Kids, be careful, this is a bag of glass'"...

I remember those -- I had one when I was little. I couldn't wait to be able to shave like my Dad.
I'm still waiting.

I had a Ken doll that came with a shaving kit. You would draw the beard on with a brown marker, then dip the little plastic shaver in water & magically the beard would disappear.

I'm surprised they don't have them for girls by now. I mean sure, in the 70's, it was all about the shrubs, but it's almost 2004 people, and I think it's about time for a "My First Hitler Mustache" playset.

Yeah, that's what you'd have to do after the fake stuff ran out.

(cringe)
I had an even older version. I had one that held the ol' double edged blades, the kind that open up like bomb bay doors on top...
